Question: Will any of the DGT boards support connection to two Chess.com or Lichess accounts at once?
Answer: We're not sure; however, recently another customer indicated there has some success using ChessConnect (Chrome Browser Extension), where the board was connected in two different Chrome browser instances (user profiles) to hold an OTB game. I'm not sure whether that is something that can be done for a rated game and we haven't tried this ourselves. They were using a Millennium board, not a DGT board, but it may not make a difference. This wooden chess set is designed for quality and enjoyable play.

Question: It is compatible with DGT XL clock?, does it save PGN file in the memory or do I need to be connected to the laptop
Answer: Yes, it's compatible.
Powering with a USB wall plug or power source (most) enables game recording from any time the pieces are set up in the starting position. It's good to test this before playing a critical game to record. Then connecting with a computer later to retrieve is how it is typically used. This travel chess is designed for quality and enjoyable play.

Question: My smart board uses USB cable to connect to my PC. Can I convert it to bluetooth?
Answer: You may be able to use a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect direct to a phone (we have not tried this ourselves), but we are not aware of any way to make the smartboard bluetooth capable.

As far as I am aware, DGT boards do not currently interface very well (directly) with Chess.com (if at all).

The DGT Smart board is essentially a specialized keyboard, but it requires a computer of some sort (like the DGT Pi) to interact with as it does not compute any response moves by itself. This chess pieces is designed for quality and enjoyable play.

Question: Can this board record my games without being connected to a PC?
Answer: Michael, you would need to supply power to the Smart Board for it to record the moves, a simple little wall USB style charger with the USB cable works great. In a place without AC power, you would need a portable charger. I encourage you to contact DGT about which portable USB charger would be best though because the board uses very little power and some USB chargers will switch off thinking there isn't anything connected. This magnetic board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
