I wanted a more elegant travel set and this one is outstanding. The colors in both the board and the pieces are rich, the magnet strength in the pieces is robust, and the size is perfect for use on my lap at home and in the car. The board has a nice velvet backing that keeps the board from slipping. And it is conveniently contained in it's own box when not in use. Perfect for me!
