The style is also seen in the DGT Timeless pieces used on the E-Board line and which has seen competitive play at the highest levels.
Compliment 2" to 2.25" squares chess board or the one(s) play-tested shown. I like how great they look on the 21.6" De Luxe Macassar Chess Board with 2 1/8" squares as shown. If you want a more economical option, the 19" Board with coordinates and 2" square is also a good fit.

Product Specs
This is a fairly well crafted set for the price. Since I am giving as a gift, I checked it over carefully when it arrived. All pieces had clean lines and cuts with the exception of one rook - notches along top were a bit roughly cut and not as deep as other rook. Bottom felt will need some reglueing on a few pieces before I gift it. Set does not weigh as much as described - I weighed it at just under 30 oz for entire set including 2 extra queens. That’s the only real disappoint. Flex pad (like very thin mouse pad) was in good condition.
The order was promptly delivered, but after the recipient opened the set, they reported that one pawn piece was cracked.
Perfect starter chess set. Love the weight of the pieces. Perfect for travel as well.

The finish looks and feels just like those of luxury set. Good contrast even with a very dark board. They are weighted but not tripple, still adequate for a fast game.
