3" Standard Staunton Chess Pieces #4 in Dark Wood Box

I bought these pieces for a wooden chess board that I was making. They are very high quality and the colors match the board I made. The wooden box they came in is very high quality also. I would highly recommend Chess House.

The size, color and style of the pieces has remarkably changed how much we are enjoying playing now. The pieces we were playing with were way too large for the board size and not the same style. I'm really surprised at the difference these pieces make in even wanting to play more. Glad to have made this purchase. Was also pleased at how nice the storage box is. One of the white pawns does have a chunk missing in the collar but, the rest of the pieces are fine. I like that the white pieces are not too light in color. Interesting finish on the dark pieces as at certain angles there is a silvery sheen luster. Nice effect.

I ordered these for my son who had just built a chess board/table in school and wanted pieces so he could play on it. He browsed the sets online and chose these. They come in a nice wooden box for storage and arrived quickly and safely. Very happy and would order from The Chess House again.

Got these as replacements and am very happy with quality and size. Customer services was great also!
