About The Chess Scorebook

The Quality Chess Scorebook is an excellent scorebook for use in tournaments, clubs, informal games, or for studying chess. The score sheet pages are run on a press and are much higher quality than other chess scorebooks that have photocopied pages. Each score book page has a place to record information about the players, the events, the game, the round, the chess tournament, ratings, and more. Each scorebook holds 50 chess games and is spiral bound for easy access to your games and so you won't lose them. They also have a cardstock cover and back page for durability and protection. Each page holds 100 moves per sheet and has a blank diagram for special or adjourned positions. The spaces on the pages are 1/4" to provide ample writing space for old or young hands.

Nice for the Price

The scorebooks are practical. I wish the front and back covers were made of a thicker paper. They feel very flimsy.

Perfect for what I was looking for.

These are the first score books I have purchased and they look awesome! Love the board on the back of the sheets and plenty of room. Plus you can't beat the price and how fast they arrived. I'm super happy.

It's my first score book, so I have no comparison, but it was easy to use, is a good price, and seems to serve its purpose. Shipping was prompt.

Room for improvement

Things I liked: Large spaces for the individual moves, as advertised; spiral binding so it lies flat; diagram to record a position (though I've never really felt a need to use it); rapid, hassle-free order fulfillment; each sheet has a place for signatures (though I haven't really had a need for that).
Areas for improvement: Front and back cover, advertised as being card stock, are still much too flimsy--I wish I could find a spiral-bound scorebook with sturdy covers, like a steno pad; book provides pages for 50 games, but the index, printed only on the back of the front cover, has spaces for only 25 games; the printing on the pages is too light.
Summary: It's adequate, but I won't be ordering this product again.

Very Weak Chess Scorebook

The scorebook covering is too thin ( It will not handle to much wear ), the letters are too small, and the printing locks ink making letters very light and hard to see. Finally, the scorebook pages are too light. I will not recommend this Chess Scorebook due to it's lock of quality and strengths in general.
