About The 3" Plastic Club Chess Pieces
These 3" chess pieces are slightly smaller than the standard size club chessmen (3 3/4") used primarily in classrooms, clubs, events. The benefit of this size is that they are large enough to grasp by youth or adults, yet small enough to be suited to the 17" chessboard size. This means you can have more sets per playing area and fit any desks that are not large enough for a full size board.

Product Specs
This are very inexpensive pieces so there is not much to critique, but I would sugest that unless you are using a very small board pay a few more dollars and get the standard size version.
Fit well with the 17in roll up board I picked up. Very good for the price. I like it.
I have two small (15" & 17" ) chess boards with pieces that were too big and too small - and could not be interchanged. Paul responded promptly with this suggestion after my inquiry. They arrived quickly and are perfect for my need. Thanx, Paul (and Chess House)!
I understand the part about cost versus quality but, in this instance, the pendulum swung a little too far towards cheap looking.
Great pieces for the 14" board. (1.5 sq). Amazing price for the quality.
