About The 14" Chess Board with Brass Top and Wood Frame

The 14" Classic Pedestal Chessboard, a smaller version of the 20 1/2" Classic Pedestal Chessboard, features the same antique finished Italian worm-wood style frame with a solid Brass playing area.  It is made in Italy.

We recommend pieces with a King Base between .72 (just under 3/4") to .825" (13/16"), or a King height up to 2.5".
