4" Grandmaster Series Chess Pieces - Acacia

The look and feel of these pieces are amazing. They also have high quality felt on the bottom to protect the surface of you board. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice set - shape of the pieces is great, but the pawns are rather light and have a hollow feel.

I had a set of well-weighted plastic pieces. They moved well but they just didn't look right with the wooden board.
The Acacia pieces were exactly what I was missing. They look great. They are heavy enough for swift play. But also (and this is something I could not have known until I got them) the feel of the wood in your hand is much more proper. There is life in each piece, lending meaning to each move. This is how Chess is meant to be played.
I still have plastic pieces for travel, but THIS is the set I come home to.

Outstanding product, they are crafted really well. The knight has excellent detail, the queen and king are perfectly weighted. Very satisfied with this product, I originally chose another set of pieces that came with the grandmaster combo set I purchased they were unavailable and I chose these as a replacement. Very satisfied with this item.
