The flex pad chessboard offers even more convenience than most roll-up vinyl chess boards in that it lays flat every time and can be both rolled-up and folded. The smooth playing surface interacts well with club style or any felt based pieces. Regulation size, the board is flexible for personal, club, or school use. Pair it with any standard size club or collectable chess pieces and you are in the game fast.

Because it's a mere 1/16 inch thick, it's easy to store roll-up style in a bag with loop or an enclosed carrying case. Roll it up with the squares facing outwards for best results.

Loved Pad and bag

I loved the flex board and carrying case, but not a fan of the silicon pieces. They just don't have the solidity I prefer. I'm giving them to my nephew. Great for kids.

Extraordinary quality

Without a doubt this is one of the finest tournament boards I've ever seen. The Flex Pad is robust and a pleasure to use. True to it's name this board can be rolled up or, thanks to it's extreme flexibility, folded up to travel very small. Although I don't recommend folding it for more than a short time to avoid creating creases in the folds. The green board I purchased works with any plastic or wood set of 3.5" to 4" Kings.

This is a true keeper and I will buy again.

The board lays flat like a mouse pad and looks good. The pieces do have a decent amount of slide to them.

These are decent chess pads. They have more or less the feeling quality of a typical computer mousepad. The color dark gray is not in any way gray.
