About The 4" Executive Chessmen - Ebonized

The Executive is a distinctive, elegant, and prominent style with bold lines and a confident knight. The very large, weighted chessmen feel luxurious with their polished, clear-stained finish.

Felted bases for effortless moves on a chessboard make the chessmen a delight to play on any wooden chess board of suitable size. The King is a full 4" tall, and the King's base will be suitable for a chessboard with squares averaging 2 1/4" to 2.5”.

The 34 pieces including extra queens are carefully handcrafted in Boxwood and ebonized Boxwood by master woodworkers in India.

Pieces met expectations for a fine professional tournament set. Ebonized boxwood and boxwood pieces well crafted and a pleasure to play and display. Thanks to Chess House and Staff for great service.

Good looking heavy pieces and great service.

These are nice pieces, one of the pawns arrived broken and was replaced free of charge right away, the only issue I had with them is that the tops of the rooks did not have varnish on them which is why I only gave them 4 stars, I fixed this with a bottle of clear nail polish. I would recommend this set and, as always, the staff at ChessHouse was awesome.
