Nice board but slight defect

Came fast and looks pretty nice. Minor defect on mine. The hinge is off so one side of the board sits above the other. Fairly noticeable, but I don’t think it’s a common occurrence.

Terrific Annotated Board

I bought this because I wanted the chessboard. Years ago, I purchased the 9” Milled Leather Travel Magnetic Chess Set with Wood Pieces from CHESSHOUSE and I am delighted to own it. The pieces are robust and beautiful. For home study, I wanted a nice annotated chessboard for it So I got the travel set that I am reviewing just to have the annotated board. It’s slightly larger than the leather board that came with my 9” travel set. For home use, it’s quite good for my those chessmen.

Beautiful and lovely to use

I love my new chess board! It is a perfect size to bring almost anywhere and I’ve already been taking it with me when I know I’ll have some downtime and someone to play with. The pieces are a really nice weight, thanks to the magnets, and the wood is lovely too. It is really a pleasure to play with - I’m so happy with it!
