Quality wooden chessboard

This board is well made and sits flat on a table. The only improvement I would make is in the thickness of the finish. It could be a little thicker.

Nice board, and just the right size

Looked at several chess boards from different merchants and settled on this one. It is just the right size and very good quality for the price. My only issue was that the first board I received had a small black dot near the edge of one of the white squares that was hard not to notice, so I requested a replacement. It took a couple days to get a response, which was somewhat concerning, but once I got a person on the phone, he was more than happy to send me another board with a prepaid FedEx label to return the first one. Happy with the transaction and the board overall -- it looks really good and is well crafted.

Josh was great with customer service. They were out of the board I ordered. I asked if they had anything else that would look better with the pieces i ordered. He sent me a picture of a board just a little more expensive. I said yes expecting an additional charge. There wasn't. Once i got the board and pieces, one of the rooks wall was chipped. its what i get for going with plastic pieces and was really minor. Emailed him. He already has the replacement on its way. Great quick reliable service and product. This board is amazing. I may spend big money on really expensive pieces with chesshouse once my 5yr old is a bit older.
