A Real Attention Grabber

Everyone loves the weight and size. It looks great on a Navy Blue Board. I absolutely enjoy playing with this set on that board. As you can tell by the stains and other wear on the board.

Very satisfactory moulded set.

Better than I expected. I like the weight, the colour and the profile of the pieces. The tan colour is much more pleasing than pure white as it more resembles traditional boxwood pieces.

Very nice set!

The Black and Tan were WELL done;
1) The weighting was very on spec at over 50 ounces-- I repeatedly weighed them.
2) The king was actually 4.0 and the base is 1.74- digitally measured!
3) To me the really nice part was the Tan set--- NO "ugly butter cup yellow" here these were a NICE -- sand like color and soft in look!
4) NO -- "clicky" glass like hollow feel like cheaper plastic sets!
5) I don't understand people talking about the --"seams"-- every plastic set I have SEEN-- shows seams-- yes the seams are there-- to be expected, but not annoying so much to be a distraction at all-- IMO.

I really think if you purchase this set, you will enjoy it!

Mold quality disappointing

I was expecting better quality at this price, especially since I'm replacing an older set with this same design which didn't have similar quality problems. The plastic mold lines are often very pronounced, as if they skipped a finishing step.
