About The Chess4Life Scorebook - Notation Pad to Record Your Chess Moves

This scorebook helps players record chess games by writing down the moves in chess notation. Using a standard format, the sheet records the event, players, moves, and the outcome of the game. Each scorebook holds 50 games along with 75 moves per game.

Chess4Life exists to promote chess in schools and provide a curriculum to teachers and administrators who want to start a successful program across elementary school grades.

Plenty of space to record games. I like them.

BEST SCORE BOOK I COULD FIND

You would think that with something as basic as a chess scorebook there would not be too many issues. Well - some of the scorebooks out there (quite a few) are in too small of a font design for most people to write in easily and/or legibly - and the other issue - if you can believe it is even possible to mess up such a basic idea - is the printing is in some light tone that makes it almost impossible to see. There are of course other issues such as quality of paper, binding, printing - and of course - the price you pay for what you are getting - and I AM THRILLED WITH THIS SCOREBOOK BECAUSE IT SUFFERS FROM NONE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED DEFECTS. What more can I say? The customer service at Chess House is over the top and amazing as they are not only willing to do what is more than reasonable and necessary to make their customers happy - it is not just a polite robotic behavior - but genuine and sincere. Whenever possible I intend to make most of my future purchases from Chess House with the exception only of unusual items that most people just don't have in stock. The people at Chess House are at a whole different level when it comes to honesty, concern over customer satisfaction, and what is becoming increasingly rare in our modern age - THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND COMPETENT. Check out the other reviews - as one guy mentions it is "the perfect scorebook". Well - I totally agree. Somebody really did something right . Thanks again - CHESS HOUSE!

Honestly prefer these.

I hate the hardback and collegiate ones. They’re too thick. I prefer these because of their thinness and light weight. I finally found the perfect scorebook.

Seems good for a student! Or old guy!

Bought it for my son a. 6th grader whose penmanship is rather large and not real meat. This has larger spaces than a standard scorebook. But not as huge as those designed for lower grade elementary students.
I like it too, I may get my self one. In my late forty’s, I now use reading glasses. I don’t need to slip on my cheaters to write down a move. Cover seems more durable than my standard blue score book too.
