Not much to really say about these chess pieces other than they all seem to work the same as the ones that came with my original Genius Exclusive. Didn’t really need them but due to the way they are designed to be used I decided to buy a spare set. I played several games with the new pieces and they were all detected correctly during the games. Just a good insurance policy against the lose of any original piece.
My husband likes to play chess. We purchased a super cheap set at a garage sale. He built a beautiful wooden box to house the set in. The chess pieces are plastic and aren’t authentic. I ordered this set for him for Christmas and it’s beautiful. I know he will love it!!

I recieved my Lasker Millennium chess board. Its Fantastic. I've played about 60 games and I have won twice. There's all kind of options I haven't even used yet. We adopted a new dog and yes she chewed up one of the chess pieces, a pawn. I ordered a new set so I could have extra pieces. They got here very quick. They are great pieces. And yes after I am done playing I put the Chess Pieces up. So now the dog has to chew on something else.
I thought it would be interesting to have an extra set of these special chess pieces that are automatically identified by the Millennium Chess Board. My idea was to set up problems with extra pieces or just have a backup set in case I lost any pieces from the original set.
The order came quickly and was perfect. The pieces are 100%, with no problems. For fun I set up a position with 4 knights vs. rook and King. It was interesting to watch the computer work out the solution. I wouldn't be able to do this without the extra pieces so having a 2nd set opens up a huge number of possibilities for experiments and fun scenarios. Now I'm only limited by my own creativity.
