When I lost a pawn to my tournament set I was dismayed. But after closely looking over ChessHouse's piece replacements, I determined this set was the closest match. And in fact the pawn I received looked and felt identical, with this difference, the replacement pawn was not a dark black, and the finish was not as shiny. How do I feel: I'm delighted! My set is complete again, and no one is going to notice the slight difference. And the price is incredibly low! ChessHouse is providing a great service with their replacement pieces!

I've been looking for this replacement piece for a long time. It really works.

I ordered a couple of sets and travel boards for myself and a buddy. Pieces are great, made for long battles, wear & tear. Boards also rollable, foldable are solid. I had a packaging issue where some pieces where lost but Chess House was quick to reply and sort the issue. Another satisfied customer. Ha.

I am very pleased with the quality of the Commander Plastic Chess set in Black and Natural, Green Deluxe Chess Bag, and 20" Green Vinyl Roll up Chess Board. The pieces are weighted, durable, have secure felt bottoms, and each piece has good definition to give them character. Wanted a set to use myself o but, also one my young grandson could learn on and I would not be worried if they were dropped. Everything fits nicely in the bag with enough room to add a box of checkers I found on ebay, My shipment was missing a pawn, but Chess House immediately responded to my email and a replacement piece was promptly expedited.
