Perfect set for the price!

I am very pleased with this set. The board is heavy and the pieces are nicely weighted, with beautiful detail. I purchased the ebonized pieces and board. Nice bonus are the two bags for the chessmen that are very robust. For the money I doubt you could get a better set. Best of all though was the customer service from chesshouse.

This is a lovely chess set. The whole thing is very sturdy and the pieces feel great in the hand. The support team was a huge help with helping me track down some FedEx errors. A wonderful set from a fantastic company!

Great but scratches easily

This is literally the best chess set on earth (as I found it by looking up “best chess set in the world”). The craftsmanship of the pieces is impeccable, and the most beautiful I’ve seen. I did have some problems with shipping. We paid extra for it to be delivered by my birthday (which it did not), but fortunately Chess House’s customer service is amazing and they refunded it immediately. Chess House checked in every day to see where the package where the package was until it got here. The only problem with the product is that the glaze scratches very easily. It already had one or two blemishes when it was delivered, which isn’t too bad, but after only a little more than a week it had about six or seven even though it has been handled very carefully. That being said, Chess House handled all our issues excellently. I strongly recommend you to purchase the pieces (maybe buy a different board). Chess House will definitely be getting more business from me. Thanks for making my birthday a special one Chess House!!
