The modern design King COMPETITION is a perfect chess computer for playing at home. It's built with the legendary "King" program by Johan de Koning.

It's ideal for all ages and levels!

Comfortable size 17.2" square board lights up to display each move that you play on a smooth pressure sensor technology.

Play either classic chess or the popular Chess960 variant according to the official FIDE rules.

Four adaptive game levels adjust to your abilities! On the entry level, even novices have fun playing the computer when it is easy to defeat. ELO levels give an estimate of your own rating.

The King is stronger than the Chess Genius with an estimated 2450 ELO. With this chess computer you play like a king!

The menu system can be set to comfort (easy) or expert mode to find your way around the extensive feature set.

The brightness of LED move display lights can be adjusted perfectly to your needs.

Millennium King Competition chess computer

This computer is a wonderful unit to use when learning how to play chess. . Various levels of ability , hints, and various options make it quite versatile .This computer is everything I wanted and am quite happy with it. The DGT computer is extremely good but the King Competiton I feel edges it out with a longer warranted.

Reviewing

This is a very strong chess computer. You can download the complete manuales from their sites. Itzaes going to be a ahíleme until you can master the menu but this is necesary to understand how to us it in a manner tha dont make you b. I am on my way to adjust the chess king to my strengh because this sofware can beat you in many forms but it can let you win if you want some fun. I got for practica and find out how strong is my level and then make my studies adjustment.

Change earlier Review to 5 Star

I wrote the Review about a Castling issue/ which has been quickly resolved by Paul at CH by personal phone call. I was just making a small manipulation error with the King and the Rook. All OK now- no problems with the King Competition. Change earlier 3 star rating to 5 star. Thx again, Paul. Hope to do business with CH again soon.

The King Competition

I love this one. I have a collection of chess-playing devices. This one is definitely one of my favourites.
It plays a very challenging and resourceful game. It’s levels are well suited for every skill level.
A great learning and training tool for any chess toolbox. “ChessHouse” is the best place to acquire all of your chess related items. They have now become my go-to source for all of my chess needs. Their customer service is outstanding.

Highly configurable and versatile chess computer

This is a very nice chess computer. There are lots of options and the system can be configured for many levels of play. It has a solid weight to it and the size is perfect, neither too large or small. It is not auto-sensing, you do have to press the pieces down to register the moves to the computer, but it becomes second nature very quickly.
