Great! Like replicas

I love them! I bought the knight, pawn, and rook and they look exactly as pictured. Definitely big pieces, was bigger than my palm, but that's exactly what I wanted. Great pieces for your chess board replacement and also as display pieces between plays. Sturdy, heavy but not too heavy to pick up and move, detailed pieces (look so close to the original museum pieces!), and have grooves of "old" details.

Excellent reproductions

The Berkeley pieces are wonderful replicas of the original Lewis pieces, probably because they used lasers for accuracy. The materials used are great and look and feel like ivory. I saw some of the original pieces when they were at the Cloisters museum in New York and these look like the real thing.
